The strategic objective is to create a full range of study programmes within Sapientia University. The aim is to establish doctoral schools in fields that currently constitute the institution's centres of excellence in terms of scientific research, but which at the same time cover a shortfall in the offer of Hungarian-language doctoral programmes in Romania. Taking these two aspects into account, possible priority fields could be applied engineering sciences (applied informatics), biotechnology and agricultural sciences, law, arts, as well as other fields of science, which meet the conditions and motives necessary for establishment.
The Sapientia Hungarian University of Transylvania is the independent university of the Hungarian community in Romania, which aims at providing education to the members of our community and performing scientific research on a high professional level.
