According to Law No. 571/2003 regarding the Fiscal Code, citizens can redirect 3.5% of their personal income tax to support the activity of a non-governmental organisation. If they do not make use of this option, the amount will be allocated to the state budget.
We are grateful to everyone who took this opportunity and supported Sapientia University with 3.5% of their personal income tax in previous years.
The amount will be added to the University's scholarship fund, emphasizing our institution's commitment to students.

You can redirect 3.5% of your personal income tax to Sapientia Foundation as follows:
1. If your income comes only from (one or more) salaries, you will need to fill in form 230 (Note: the document can be opened and edited after downloading it to your computer)
If you cannot specify the amount of the 3.5% in section II. of the form, leave the space blank and the amount will be calculated by the tax office.

2. If you have income from other sources (ex. copyright, income from transferred goods, income from free professions), you will have to fill out THIS form.
3. The document can be sent by registered letter, or it can be submitted in person at the tax office. Forms are sent to the regional tax office responsible for the area you live in: there are tax offices in each town/city, and as for villages, contact your local town hall for information.
Residents of Târgu Mureș, Cluj-Napoca and Miercurea Ciuc can submit the forms to the secretary’s offices at the faculties of Sapientia University.
